The purpose of the consumer and family education program is to address the needs of the patrons in Jordan School District. Courses are designed to help adults and youth become better consumers and more successful in their personal lives and in their family management.
Some of the courses available to Jordan patrons and employees include:
- Food handler's permit courses in English and Spanish
- Family money management (including retirement planning)
- Parenting and family relationship skills
- Kindergarten preparation
- Organizational skills
- Healthy cooking for busy families
- Timely topics for teenage girls
- Home design ideas
- Healthy lifestyles
- Family activity and recreation |
