Guidance Curriculum
Guidance Curriculum is delivered through classroom presentations and activities. Students develop skills in the following areas:

Academic/Learning Development
Awareness of attitudes, knowledge, and skills that contribute to effective life-long learning
Understanding of the relationship of school experiences and academic achievement to the world-of-work, home and community
Completion of school with coursework that provides post-secondary options

Life Career Development
Awareness of self in relation to work
Exploration of  the world of work
Strategies to achieve future life/goals

Multicultural/ Global Citizen Development
Ability to evaluate and approach life as a contributing citizen in the global community

Personal/ Social Development
Develop skills to understand and appreciate themselves and others
Identify and utilize processes to set and achieve goals, make decisions, and solve problems
Develop the resiliency skills necessary for safety survival.
